My desires
The reason why I got into this business is that I felt just exactly that way.
I wanted to be in full control of my own future. I was fed up with my 9-5 job which gave me no sense of fulfillment.
I wanted to be able to decide my own hours when to work, when to go to the gym, when to spend time with my friends and family and when to go travel. In fact, when you work in the online business you have the privilege to work from anywhere in the world, as long as you have your laptop and an internet connection.
But most of all, I wanted to have the opportunity to grow as a person, collaborate and share experiences with likeminded people, create my own products and WRITE MY OWN PAYCHECK.
My background
I grew up in a small village just outside of Gothenburg, Sweden. I’ve had a very good childhood and have been provided with everything a kid could ask for. But there was just one problem…
I was raised and taught in school that the only way to succeed in life is to study hard, get a good education and work hard. Most of my friends have either went to the university to get a fancy degree, or they have gotten a low-wage job and settled down to create a family. Neither is an option for me.
Traditional jobs
The reality of work in 2018 for a young person is one of complete powerlessness. It’s a life of desperation, humiliation and constant goading from management that likes to remind you that ‘there’s more where you came from’. You feel like your boss owns your life and you have to put with everything thrown at you because there’s nothing else on the horizon.
The search for freedom
But, there is something on the horizon. In the mid of 2014, I made the decision to look for a “better way”. A way that would allow me to not only earn good money but most importantly give me more freedom to do all the things I wanted to do in life.
I had absolutely no idea where to start, or what I actually was looking for. I came to the conclusion that I needed a mentor, someone who has already gotten the results and the lifestyle that I was searching for.
Lots of options
As I am sure you know there are so many different possibilities to work online. Lots of alternatives that promise a high income without any effort from you. That wasn’t what I was looking for (if it looks too good to be true then it probably is!).
How I got started online
After searching for some time I found The Six Figures Mentors, I won’t go into detail about it here, but basically, it was a high ticket membership training program. Or as they said, an “earn while you learn” type of program.
I paid a lot of money for it (money that I didn’t have), in hope to finally make it online… After carefully following the training they provided, and spending lots of time and money to advertise the program, with little to no success, I started to doubt if this was really the best way to go… I mean, how many people can actually afford to pay $2k-20k (yes, that’s how much they charge, on different levels) to join a business opportunity?
One of the recommended traffic sources to promote this program was “Solo ads”. If you don’t know what that is, Solo ads are email-based advertisements you buy from other email list owners. They’re typically sent as dedicated emails – so the entire message is all about your promotion. I was paying these solo ad sellers 50 cent – $1 per click… That’s when I realized that these people were making a ton of money from selling this type of email traffic!
Solo Ads
So I was starting to research on how to become a solo ad seller, and I stumbled upon a solo ad coaching program on the Warrior forum. It was from two successful marketers who had a ton of successful case studies from their students who quickly reached a monthly income of $3k-10k. So even though I had already invested a lot of money in the high ticket program, I was convinced that this was a way better choice for me…
And how right I was about that! Within 2 months of joining their solo ad coaching program, I started to earn $2-3k per month on a consistent basis. Within 6 months I was able to reach an income of $5-6k per month from having my own email list and selling solo ads to people who were promoting their online business opportunities (similar to what I tried to promote when I was in the Six Figure Mentors).
Other ventures
After having my first success online by being a reputable solo ad seller for a couple of years, many other doors opened up with help of the connections I’d made in the industry. I was early to join the new trend of “revenue sharing” programs. With the skills that I had learned and the network I had grown from being a solo ad seller, I managed to grow a big team and earn a good amount of money and my team was earning as well. However, due to the nature of these programs, they didn’t last very long as they got in trouble with PayPal & SEC. And that’s why the “rev share” trend soon came to an end.
E-commerce
One of my friends from the solo ad industry was early into the Shopify and Dropshipping from China trend. He managed to make a lot of money from finding cool and trendy products, and incredibly cheap products from China and promoting them with Facebook ads. Often these products were promoted as “Free plus shipping” offers, basically, you find a product for $1-3 and advertise it as “Free”, and all the customer had to pay was the shipping & handling fee of $8-9.
I joined his coaching program and started to see some success pretty quickly by using the same methods. I was easily making $200-300 per day just promoting these cheap products for a shipping fee. However, this method became more and more saturated as a lot of people jumped on the trend, and soon enough hundreds of people were promoting the same type of products, driving up the advertising costs and lowered the profit margins.
E-commerce, or should I say dropshipping cheap items from China was no longer a walk in the park, and you had to really think outside the box to stand out from the competition. Luckily for me and my business partner, we managed to find a couple of really unique and profitable products by the end of 2016, and we grossed over $500k in sales in less than 3 months time.
Events and Masterminds
I was going to my first event in February 2016, it was in Las Vegas, and the company was a traffic exchange with revenue sharing. I was one of the top affiliates and received my Diamond badge on stage in front of hundreds of people, it was one of my biggest achievements at that time. Later that week I also met up with one of my best mentors, Jermaine Steele, at a private mastermind in his Las Vegas penthouse. The knowledge and the inspiration you get from hanging out with successful entrepreneurs is priceless, and I was hooked on attending to masterminds.
A few months later, in July, it was time for the next mastermind, this time in Florida, USA. To be more precise, in a private mansion in Orlando… But I decided to go a bit earlier and spend a week in Miami to get some sunshine (something that we’re not spoiled with back in Sweden, lol). This time it was a BIG mastermind, close to 40 people attended during the 3-day mastermind. I learned a lot from all the speakers, and the opportunity to sit down with incredible people, learn from each other, build new connections and make new friends is actually the best part of attending a mastermind. Not to mention all the fun, the good food and the incredible mansions that you get to live in!
I’ve been to a few more masterminds since then, they are mainly held in the United States, usually Florida, New York, Las Vegas & California. I would highly recommend anyone to attend these events if you get the chance, it can literally change your life forever. It doesn’t matter if you have years of experience or if you are brand new, there’s always more things you can learn, more connections and relationships you can build. Remember that your network is your net worth!

The present and the future
I was fortunate enough to find some mentors that had the results that I wanted and luckily was able to create several online businesses that allowed me to escape the 9-5 rat race. In this journey, I’ve managed to make a lot of money, but I’ve also managed to waste a lot of money on stupid, expensive things and bad investments. It has been a roller coaster, one day you’re on top of the world, and the next day you literally lay in bed, want to cry and give up on everything. That’s the life of an entrepreneur, but I believe that all experiences, both successes, and failures make you stronger and only helps you become a better person at the end of the day.
I ended up realizing that sitting home and making a lot of money for yourself can’t really create long-term happiness. That is when I realized that instead of buying materialistic things, I should spend the money I have on experiences and memories. And instead of just spending all my workdays printing money for myself as a crazy professor (that’s basically what I do, researching & testing products, running ads, split-testing everything), I actually want to help people succeed and make a difference in someone else’s life.
I am going to be traveling around the world indefinitely until I find out more about myself as I face new challenges and adventures alone. My focus and top priority at the moment is to create a TON of content, bring value to all my followers and hopefully grow my audience at the same time. I will be uploading videos on a regular basis to my Youtube Channel, my goal is to create at least 3 high-quality videos per week, with valuable training, tips and tricks I use in my own businesses.
